Rakhi Sawant is NOT getting married to Dodi Khan; Pakistani actor justifies reason to break up: ‘This is not acceptable’

Rakhi Sawant is heartbroken and upset since Pakistani actor-businessman, Dodi Khan, has refused to marry her. On Thursday night, Dodi uploaded a video on his Instagram handle to clarify that he will not tie the knot with Rakhi. Reacting to the same, Rakhi dropped a teary-eyed and several broken-heart emojis in the comments section. Several of Sawant’s fans also reacted to Khan’s video and questioned him for hurting the Indian actress’ sentiments.

For the unversed, in his video message, Dodi Khan clarified that even though he proposed to Rakhi for marriage, they are not going to tie the knot. He praised Rakhi, talked about the hardships she faced in the past and mentioned that it was because of her bravery that he liked her a lot.

“Hello India and Pakistan, this is Dodi Khan. A few days ago, on social media, you saw a video of mine in which I had proposed Rakhi Sawant. I proposed her because I know her very well. When I started knowing her, I felt she is a person who loves god a lot. She has seen a lot of ups and downs in her life, she lost her parents but was with them when they were ill. A guy came in her life, you all know what he did to her. She has come out of a lot of trauma. She accepted Islam, went for Umrah, and changed her name to Fatima. I liked that a lot that’s why I proposed to her,” Dodi said in Hindi.

Dodi Khan admits the reason to not marry Rakhi Sawant

Dodi Khan also admitted that since he is from Pakistan, his marriage to Rakhi Sawant might not be acceptable to many. “But, I think that this is not acceptable to people because I have received a lot of messages and videos, and I cannot tolerate it. So, Rakhi ji, you are my very good friend, and will always be. You might not be able to be my bride, but I promise you that you will become the daughter-in-law of Pakistan. I will make you get married to one of my brothers,” he added.

Rakhi’s fans react

Several of Rakhi’s fans also reacted to Dodi’s video and questioned him for hurting the Indian actress’ sentiments. “Pehle Bina soche propose q Krna tha,” one of the fans wrote. “Awww that’s so sad, who cares about people, you and Rakhi should marry regardless of media and live a happy life, people will always criticize,” added another.

About Rakhi’s relationships

Rakhi Sawant was previously married to Adil Khan Durrani—however, the two parted ways in 2023. Before Adil, Rakhi was also married to Ritesh Raj Singh. The two participated in Bigg Boss 15 but parted ways soon after the show ended in February 2022.
